"Seasonal Small Munsterlander"

A cracking shot of Bodie from Suzanne. Such a beautiful bitch & a great 'seasonally appropriate' photo. She looks very alert but possibly slightly puzzled, a typical Munster expression?

"Munsterlanders don't have bad hair days?"

'Harley and Rexleigh (OES) I don't think munsters ever have a bad hair day - but an OES - gosh anytime mom gets out the clippers! How humiliating!' Thanks Patty. Do Munsters ever have bad hair days? Anybody any photos to disprove this theory?

"Munsterlanders like to make a splash!"

This is Suzanne's Small Munsterlander, Bodica with a rather more energetic approach to water. Geronimooooo! Did she look before she leapt? Doubt it! Thank you Suzanne for these fantastic shots of your lovely girl.

"Munsterlanders - same the world the over?"

From a Dutch Large Munsterlander in Switzerland back to the U.K. and Munsterlanders need to cool off, even in October. This is Theo, enjoying a walk in the Wye Valley. Now, this puddle is not quite so glamorous as the last or clean for that matter, but does Theo mind? The muddier the better, he says!

"Munsterlander cooling off"

All that mountaineering is hard work. A Munster needs to relax and just chill out once in a while and a good wallow usually does the trick. I wonder if this water has special healing properties or is it just a puddle! The last one, for now, of Jesse in Switzerland.

"Munsterlander in the Mountains"

More beautiful Swiss scenery with a Munsterlander added for good measure, the icing on top so to speak! Another of Jesse on holiday in Switzerland, just pausing to admire the view, or waiting for her owner to catch her up!

"Munsterlander Training Holiday"

Here's Jesse retrieving a dummy on her and her owner, Cindy's training holiday in Switzerland. Jesse is obviously a member of the family and seems to love a good holiday. Read about an 'unfortunate' incident when Jesse stayed in France on her page on the 'Munsterlanders at large' site.

"Munsterlander on the rocks"

Yet another stunning photo from Cindy. The landscape looks so beautiful in all these photos. It must have been a great holiday. Thank you very much for sharing, anyone wishing to join in, please send photos to munsterlandergroupie@hotmail.co.uk

"Munsterlander and friends"

What a well trained bunch! Another from Cindy of her training holiday in Switzerland. This is Large Munsterlander, Jesse with just one or two of her closest friends! They are probably saying, 'when's dinner going to be served?' Nice to see such a happy looking and contented group of dogs.

"Munsterlander in Switzerland"

Do we really need words? A Munsterlander and a stunning backdrop, now does it get any better? This is Jesse owned by Cindy in the Netherlands on a training holiday in Switzerland. Cindy says, 'it was marvelous'. Are we jealous? Well, yes!

"Hard Working Munsterlander"

'Harley, Patty and Mark - opening day for 2007 - Harley retrieved 16 ducks - two that dove multiple times and 3 or so that were deep in the brush. What a dog! We are having a great time' More of the much loved Harley in the great outdoors.

"Munsterlander's first woodcock"

This is Harley owned by Patty & Mark in the U.S., pictured with his first woodcock. Patty says 'Harley will be two on Halloween (Oct 31). He really is a great hunter in the thick cover here.' Learn more about Harley on the 'Munsterlanders at Large' site.

"Munsterlander skid path?!"

This is Jess owned by Ruth. Her owner said of this photo, 'you will notice the skid path she uses as she chases the pigeons off the back fence!!' I think we all have one of those in our garden. Why use the gravel path when you can wear down the grass?

"Munsterlander Softie"

Another of Eric's Cato in the Netherlands. Eric says, 'During an evaluation, Cato's presentation was judged as 'not typical female'. Luckily, one never fails to see the qualities of his own dog!' We're with you Eric! Who could resist that soulful expression?!

"Munsterlander and ice-cream?"

We can't see the ice-cream but Misty certainly seems to be licking her lips in anticipation or maybe she just had a swift slurp of her owner's ice-cream. One of those photos that, while not technically brilliant, just seems very appealing!

"Winning Munsterlanders"

These two are best of friends. Meadow recently gained her crown, the title of U.K. Show Champion but as she says, it hasn't changed her! She is still sweet Meadow! And her new protegé, Jasmine was Best Puppy in Show at the recent Large Munsterlander Club Open Show and gained her Kennel Club Bronze Good Citizen award the very next day.

"Munsterlander on a hunting trip"

'After a day in the mountains with rain pouring down and no bird in sight, Frigg wanted to go home. But then the dogs started to find the birds again, and she regained her spirits' ... Her face is a picture!

"Munsterlander in the fall"

Two lovely autumnal photos from William Zeman in the U.S. of his Large Munsterlander 'hunting partner', Max. We hope to see more photos from William of Max doing what he does best as the hunting season gets underway in the U.S.

"Turn of the German Longhaired Pointer"

This lovely picture is not a Munsterlander, not a Small Munsterlander and not a mis-coloured Large Munsterlander - it is a rather handsome & well known German Longhaired Pointer by the name of Konan. Several e-mails recently have shown there is some confusion, so to check out this lovely breed go to Arany Gundogs.

"Turn of the Small Munsterlander"

Raisa looks on in bemusment as her human companion demonstrates how to flush a partridge from a pear tree! This is Raisa again, companion of Ginny and yet another lovely photo from Arien in the Netherlands.

"Munsterlander with an identity crisis"

No Ginny dear, you are not a cat although you may have adopted a rather fetching pair of cat's ears! Nevertheless you are a Large Munsterlander, and a beautiful one at that. Another of the lovely Ginny from Arien in the Netherlands.

"Munsterlander in safe paws"

... or at least in very big paws! This is Ginny again, a little younger this time with her giant protector, Pluto. I don't know which one looks more bemused by their new companion, Pluto or Ginny! But what a lovely image & two beautiful dogs.

"Munsterlanders to the rescue"

Anyone need rescuing? Don't worry Small Munsterlander, Raisa flanked by her pal, Large Munsterander, Ginny are on the case! These two fun loving girls are owned by Arien in the Netherlands.

"Munsterlander Birthday Boy"

This is David Bishop's much cherished Large Munsterlander, Ben. David got Ben from Large Munsterlander Rescue. It was very recently Ben's birthday, he's 5 years old and still a puppy at heart. Aren't they all? Now, when does the average Large Munsterlander mature and start acting their age? Some would say never!

"Munsterlander - just gotta catch that duck!"

A Large Munsterlander living life to the full, Bunny owned by Ulli in Austria, showing just how determined these dogs can be. Bunny is just not going to give up! If you can't beat them, join them, looks like Bunny is trying to take off too!
